The Fairport
Area Swim Team is designed and dedicated to educate and
encourage the overall health and fitness of its members, while
further developing the ability of the athletes competitively.
FAST is a program for beginning level swimmers
up through Olympic Trial athletes. The coaching staff have distinguished
themselves nationwide for their success and ability to coach all
levels of athletes. It is an environment filled with opportunity
and tradition.

Meet Signups!
The coaching staff are currently working on meet entries for the following meets - The Colgate Invitational on May 31st & the Niagara Long Course Classic on July 5-7. Meets fill up quickly and we have to act quickly!
12 & under swimmers should email Coach Deborah to be entered in the meets. 13 & over swimmers should email Coach Ryan to be entered.
The FAST meet calendar is being updated on a daily basis so please make sure to check the "Meets" link on the website and check your emails from the coaching staff.

Mestha Breaks Records!

10 year old swimmer, Suhan Mestha broke two club records in the 50 and 100-yard backstrokes at last weekend's Eastern Zone All-Star Championship held in Buffalo, NY. The 50 back record had stood for 26 years and the 100 for 14 years. Congratulations to Suhan!


FAST Swimmers Named to All-Greater Rochester Team
Nine FAST swimmers were named to this year's 2008 All-Greater Rochester Boys Swimming Team. FAST swimmers accounted for 50% of the total athletes named. Ricky Henahan was named overall athlete of the year and was joined by fellow FAST athletes Peter Koenig, Dylan Scheemaker, Connor Harrington, Jim Beaudry, Dhruv Tyagi, Willy Brophy, Yuri Chornobil and Dan Locke. Honorable mentions also went to Tyler Benson and Elias Homerin. This was released by Rochester's Democrat and Chronicle newspaper. Click on the "Section V Patch" above for the online feature story!
