Amy Cottrill graduated from Fairport High School in 1996.  A long time member of FAST, she had competed in the highest levels of USA Swimming, racing in the US Open, Jr and Senior Nationals.  Her success would continue as she would move on to become a seven-time All-American while competing for the University of Minnesota.

Amy currently competes in trialathalons, and last year was the individual champion at the 2008 USMS Short Course Nationals in Austin, winning the 1000-yd freestyle for her age division. click here to see Amy's interview after the race on "floswimming".
