In the pool, the trip helped us to grow accustomed to hard work through 2-a-day 50m practices and dry-land training. The 50m training has greatly enhanced our work ethic and swimming capabilities. In addition, we have learned the importance of hydration and proper diet.
Outside the pool, the trip has allowed us to realize how fortunate we are in America. A strong emphasis was placed on the importance of leadership and responsibility for oneself and one's teammates. Learning to persevere through difficult moments in our lives will be simplified when we use what we've learned.

My experience in Costa Rica was fantastic. There were many wonderful things I saw and did. I faced some of my biggest fears: heaights, planes, and rides. Getting in shape and swimming good at the meet met some of my goals. Traveling, Spanish, AWESOME!

Our experience was excellent with new foods and cultures. We especially likd the zip-line tour combo. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Fun! New friends! Different animals! Fantastic!

Our 11 night stay in Guapiles is sure to be the highlight of the summer 2007. The hours spent in the pool were challenging, yet rewarding. The talented and wise words from the coaching staff greatly enhanced our strives for peak physical conditioning. The many activities enhanced our understanding of other cultues. As we sped through the canopy of the glorious rainforest and paddled through treacherous waters we became at a deeper peace with ourselves and surroundings. PURA VIDA!

My experience in Costa Rica has been one of rainforest weather and enjoyable activities. Volcano! Beach! Bodysurfing! Horseback riding! Rafting and interesting swim practices that included soccer, obstacle courses and a water slide. My time in Costa Rica will be remembered forever!
